Fish(?) Simulator (Brackeys Game Jam 2023.2)

Grow stronger by consuming other smaller creatures. Reincarnate into different increasingly terrifying species. And become the conqueror of the sea.

Goal(s): 

• Unlock all species
• Collectables
• Reach the bottom of the ocean

Controls:

• LMB / Space: Dash
• Z: Charge (Needs to be unlocked in the first area)
• Esc / P: Open Menu (To respawn back to different checkpoints & reincarnate into other species)

Help:

• At the beginning of the game, you can only eat planktons (pixel-sized creatures) to gain exp.
• Unlock new species for reincarnation by consuming lifeforms of the corresponding species.
• Active/Passive abilities can be fully unlocked by maxing out the level. Thereafter, all species will be able to use said abilities.
• Unlocking abilities and species might be required to progress.
• You might need to go back to previous checkpoints to gain exp then teleport back to newer checkpoints by respawning through the menu.
